    2001 Legnum - EBC?

    Hi all

This site is a fantastic resource lking fwd to the oz site being back up. Until then i am optimistically thinking this may be an electronic boost controller (new to all this terminology so pls forgive ignorance)

My ignorance prevails - the photos uploaded, but aren't there - so theres big red wires from the battery to the efi i think and to the top of the mainfold cover and a little switching box near the drivers left leg with two toggle switches that i can see - speculation?

I think the big red wires are just an earthing kit. They're supposed to help help earth the engine and various other parts to the battery better. It's debatable whether they do much though.

damn! Thats what someone else said as well. So the toggle switches under the dash that you can just see are related to the earth kit?

I would think they're for something else altogether.

Looks like a turbo timer and add-on multiple cigarette lighter sockets.

And yes, those red wires look like an earthing kit.

thanks guys - yeah i know they still smoke more than us, but 3 or so cigarette sockets seems like overkill - but i guess mobile phone and other attachments!? The car is 2 months away or more, but i'm just a bit excited. Thanks for all yr help. Am ordering the gear for trans fix now so i can do that straight up.
    cheers all

The multiple cigarette points are probably for cell charges, interior lights, Navi systems, etc. See them a lot in Japan. I have one in my car right now. Useful if you have a lot to plug in! lol
