I told Kerry( the Wife) about this on the trip down to Japfest & she was up for it but on the trip back we were talking about it & we thought it was a bit to close to Xmas to be spending so much on a ring trip.

Have you considered the Motorsport ? A double room is usually 80 euros a night and includes continental breakfast. Also, we have had no problems cancelling in the past (they don't ask for credit card details).......so you could always book a house later if required and cancel the Motorsport.
