WTB: PC Parts or PC

Hi Guys,


Basically i got my PC sent down from carlisle and its turned up knacered..it wont boot lots of beeps gone through all the usual checks but cant remember which bios it has so the beeps are irelevant...either way it looks like the mainboard is toast...

so im looking for a new board and processor..i had a P4 3GHZ with an ASUS board on of the 1066FSB jobs nothing startling...anyone have anything simaler or possibly an upgrade. It must have a PCI-E slot and other than that not to fussy

Aye, could be anything really... sounds like something has come loose/unseated

Tried all that mate, i do this for a job Its more likely been kicked around the warehouse.

found a board now anyway, has a duff on board network controller but I have a card anyway plus it will take a quad core, and it was free!
