& that was my best time of the day. despite running 25 bhp of nitrous !
even the run what you brung days attract huge numbers of participants !!
the 1st run was the fastest, I got gradually slower after that, culminating in a wheel spinning 14.10. :$ even though it felt like the fastest !

quickest of the day, [ whilst I was there ] was a street bike, not a drag bike !! running a 8.79 @ 171 mph !! :rolleyes5 :rolleyes5

My gearbox was playing up all the way down, & took 2 litres of ATF. I checked it again before I did my 4 runs, & it was damned low !! :$ but what the heck !!
I did my best run alongside a Seat leon cupra R, the same as my mate 'skippy' has got. [ 225 bhp ] his reaction was 0.3 secs, mine was 1.95 [ launch ] & I still beat him by a long way !! :-b :-b

& whilst I'm on the subject, I had a little tussle with an impreza, & a Honda integra R on the way back !! Scooby looked standard, but Honda, I presume, had been modded a bit.
I didn't race them, my licence, at the moment is a bit precarious !! :$ so I just sat behind them & watched them play !! my nitrous was switched on & ready, but I backed off at 110 on the Dronfield bypass. I was tempted !!! sorely tempted ! :-b
