If you run 225/40/18 tyres on them they will fit just fine. The outer part of the wheel itself will stick proud of the wheel arch, but the top of the tyre will be inside the guard if the car is lowered.

thanks brad my cars got standard suspension
its a set of rota drift wheels from an evo x
the tryes on there now are FALKEN FK452 265/35/18

i'm just worried about the et being 30

265/35/18 will never fit on!

Have a look at my gallery, I'm running 9.5" wide wheels with a 35mm offset and 235 wide tyres. With 225's on a 30mm wheel the outside top of the tyre will be in the exact same place as on my car. I did have rubbing but once I rolled the guards I was fine.
