7201 Mapped Ecu's - 9 available

Hi,
'm also interested in ECU.
If I read correctly, the ECU will also work with the automatic transmission?
I'm still not sure what I have for the time.
It may be that I have the 7101, or?

If maybe one of you has installed the flashed ecu that comes to Germany Nürburgring??

I have a 52 plate tiptronic uk vr4. Would this ecu work on my car? If it does i will have one also im based it Northampton so what would be the best way for me to collect/post?

Are there currently any of these up for grabs? Whats the chances of fitment at the RR day in Feb? And I'm assuming it'll fit my car (1996)? Seeing as I'm spending out on a new engine bit more money to get a power gain will make me feel better about it.

Hello are any of these still left? I have a 97 auto will this fit ok & do i need to go on dyno first?

Just had one of these fitted, John met me halfway at a service station then we took the car out for a run with the laptop plugged in, then we swapped the ecu and did another run with laptop plugged in to check there was no knock and all looked well.

I'm not sure how the car was running before the ecu (compared to other VR4's) but it now feels a lot more responsive and a lot smoother, I'm at the midlands rolling road day in March so will feedback the actual results but inital thoughts are it was an incredible bargain for £150 fitted, no hassle just plug and play and off you go!

Thanks again John, look forward to any future maps you come up with especially if you can nail one with better fuel economy when cruising!

had mine fitted at the eurospec rolling road day, had problems with boosting(my car rather than the ecu). Once fixed with no other mods apart from exhaust and decat power hit 291.5bhp atf. Not bad considering it had 260 when it left the factory and i'm sure it would have lost a few ponies over the last 14 years. Brilliant mappinb, boost comes in a lot lower and harder, its a cpmpletely different animal now. Thanks John anf Richard, i take my hat off to you guys.

Thanks Guys , and Simon your result was fantastic with the stage one map , even Rich only got that much with a modifeid version - but the chase is on for more power as he now has an exhaust now and should free it up a little more

Thats a good result Sy mine came in at 281.8bhp on the same map.

I am looking at getting one of these but ive another stupid question. To the guys who've had these remapped 7201's fitted whats the fuel economy like on long motorway runs?

I too had my ecu changed at the Eurospec RR day, Since then I havn't noticed any increase in fuel - other than what's attributable to running on Hi boost (EBC) at all times now. Best £150 ever spent

John/Rich - When is the stage 2 going to be available to the masses?
