    Steve..

Dave is saying that you already have a Walbro fitted in your car

Don't know whether it's hardwired though ? Maybe Dave can enlighten you

If it's not, then it would be advisable to do this, so that it's getting the full voltage at all times.. It could be that it's not switching from 5v to the full 12v+ on load.. This could be the issue with most of the 1's running lean on the Dyno, mine included.. I already have a 255lph Pump fitted. But not hardwired, it was 1 of the job's i was to get around to before the RR day.. But alas.. I ran out of Round Tuit's

Cheers guys totally understand what your saying.

But I need the Walbro for my Roanne red vr4 as I`m starting to do this one now.

That`s still is a valid point though Glenn about the other one being hardwired and perhaps Dave can possibly give an answer to that please?

    Cheers.

It was not hardwired, but equally it didn't have any issues with in excess of 100bhp worth of additional fuelling..............

But that doesn't mean it can't have an issue now
