A map...

Here's an idea - don't know if its been suggested before but...

We could have a map, or two, one of the world, one of the UK, maybe another for our Kiwi friends, then each member (I'd suggest paid member or actual owner) is marked on the map in their location - it would be interesting and would make meets easier to organise.

We had a similar thing to this before, but only marked out in counties. Having 'pins' on the map would be cool!! :-b

I haven't looked at it yet - but the screenshot looks good. I'll download it later and try - tad pricey though, but I'm sure the trial version would be of some use...

I think it's a great idea. How about something like THIS rather than expensive software ....... or is this the sort of thing you had before Kieran?

we used to have this but its not the easiest of things to keep up date. Its not put into a database, so everything has to be updated manually :rolleyes5

Wondering if we can sort by Country in the "Members List"

I think it's a great idea. members, or non-members for that matter, can see who lives near them, and can arrange mini-meets, help working on car etc etc.

If, within the profile, there was a drop down list of all cities (or if too difficult, all counties), or even postcode, and this could be linked to some sort of software that would mark you on a map, that would be very cool.
