Normally I would have been able too, but we fly off on holiday on Wednesday afternoon.....soz mate.
See you there (Hopefully).
Taff has proposed a bite to eat and perhaps a "Cleansing Ale" at a local hostelry - as the visitor from over the water, (no doubt smarting at paying the toll on the Tamar bridge) you can have the choice of establishments.

You mention Ivors - oh how can I resist.............unfortunately though no choice. If you do go to Ivor's please have 2 or 3 for me.
Bite to Eat sounds good, Pint even better. Trouble and Strife is tagging along, she can drive home.....Originally Posted by Barney

Oh and its gotta be a big carvery methinks
Last Ivor's I had was a special made for a rugby tour. It was 4' long and 2' wide and about 4" thick in the middle. We presented it to the host club (Met Police C division) on a Sunday afternoon, saying that we needed the tray back to return to Ivors.Originally Posted by The Vee
Dilema too much pasty! They took it around to the old folks home just up the road where it was well received (not having heard of Ivor Dewdneys reputation). That night the home had two unexplained/unexpected deaths!!!.
This was back in 1975 or '76.
Never knowingly touched them since
Thanks for the heads up on this one Barney - unfortunately I'm working tomorrow and cannot really get away as reps are due in. You can always pop in to the showroom if you're passing and swap the wheel nuts!
BTW, I was starting to get a little worried reading:
...until I realised you were talking about Mr Dewdney.Originally Posted by Barney
Have to say Friary Mill pasties are the best IMHO and this is from someone who grew up within sniffing distance of the Warrens factory. Even better than Philps in Hayle.
Anyway have a good meet up.
