    Ganador Style Mirrors

well i had these painted up for my car almost a century ago now ,and then they were not the right backing plates so i fabricated a new mounting pod out of fibreglass and made steel plates with bolts welded and its all go..
ready to sculpt the top hat and then pain the pod
and lay indicator wiring to the mirror.

should look somewhat pretty when its on i reckon

just filled in time after cleaning workshop to start the Race car mods..
    Shhhhh dont tell Brad..

Look good Q. Like the indicator on them.
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

If you've got indicators on the wing mirrors, could you get rid of the side indicators?

    well heres the fginished article...

have not got time yet to hook up the indicators yet,but am thinking of doing somehting different with them anyhow.. more of a Merc effect ,but will see later on...

must say i love them, sitting in the car looking at them looks way better than seeing it from the exterior tho...

the dont stick out as much as the OEM ones do but sit angled and better, only showing you what yuou need.. and they flex both up and down and sides, theres a huge spring inside to take them, although theyr not designed in the shape to allow for flex really but will happily move if needed

I quite like the look of them. I also really like the integrated indicator which, IMHO, makes it easier for people to see when you are turning.

Do you just tap into the side indicator to hook up the mirror ones? And are they incandescent, or LED?

Looking good Q. I've been looking at modern cars with indicators on the mirrors since I saw this thread & they don't have side repeaters on the wings so you could loose them. In the UK anyway. Dont know about NZ.
