    DESCRIPTION:

Here we have our beloved Airtrek Turbo R for sale. Sadly we cant justify having two 'Evo's in our stable. As much as i would love to keep this one I cant part with my VI. Wth the potential for the arrival of children in the near future we need to start being a bit more financially aware . Anyways most of you will know what these cars are about for those that dont I include the bumf and links below.

Basically its a Mitsubishi Outlander with an EVO 7 engine, coupled with a later model InvecsII semi auto gear box. It makes for a spacious, lofty and exhilirating ride. Easily tuneable should you so wish. Others have seen 350Bhp with just a remap and FMIC. The Malaysians have lots of info on these and thats a forum i joined to glean more knowledge about them. http://airtreker.com/forum/
The guys on the MLR also know a fair wedge about these!

    Model Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo-R
Engine type Four cylinders, turbo, 1997cc
    Power 240bhp @ 5500rpm
    Torque 253 lb ft @ 2500rpm
    Transmission Five-speed automatic
Suspension (front and rear) MacPherson struts, lower wishbones, coil springs, anti-roll bar
    Tyres 215/60 R16
    Fuel 22.7mpg (combined)
    Co2 238g/km
    Dimensions 4465mm length; 1750mm width; 1540mm height
    Acceleration 0 to 60mph: 6sec
    Top speed 120mph

This one is a an official UK car issued from Extreme (Ralliart UK) in Dudley. Only 30 of these beasts were officially sold. So rarity is an understatement. Its basically an outlander with Evo 7GTA ruinning gear. Parts arent a problem!

This model comes with fully stamped Extreme service history booklet, bar the last two services which i completed myself. Receipts available for evidence. Last serviced a couple of hundred miles ago so its good for another 4000 odd!
It has Mintex 1166 pads on the front which are phenomenal with stock pads on the rear. The car is not modified in any shape or form, it comes still restricted beyond 112mph.
For those with small kids it comes with the Isofix system as standard in the rear. Airbags up front etc etc

Okay couple of bad points to note, pretty soon the front tyres will need replaceing, they are nearing their limit. New Pirelli P6000 on the rear with 5mm+ of tread.
There is rust bubbling on the rear OS arch, i have had the other side done already and was about to get the other side done but keep running out of time.
ABS light comes and goes as it pleases, suspected dirty sensor needs cleaning (Nev can vouch for this lol) New sensors available from Camskill if it so needs at £100.
Usual stone chips on front end though nothing serious, mark/scratch under rear light on the OS, mark on drivers side door. I have photographed each panel to show how good/bad they are.

If i can think of any more i will add more info at a later date. Pics below. Any questions just ask!

    Thanks for looking

Will get some more interior pics this evening. The rear seats fold properly flat too to give a nice big load space.

I also have the Airtrek Handbook in PDF format should anyone want that info. Here is a couple of extracts for sizes etc

This was noticeably better than the Legnum! This soon became the weapon of choice for longer journeys. That i presume was the start of the death knell for my VR4
