Thumbs up Newbie in the market.

    Hi guys,

Just a heads up. Just got out of a troubled relationship with my 300ZX. She is gone now and i have a friend who owns a rather sorted 3000GT. Unfortunately Ive got the V6 Twin Turbo bug and need a pratical family car.

So a VR-4 Galant is the perfect choice! Thought id chat to a few of you and get a feel for the beast, and if any of you out there want to sell a VR-4 Saloon after xmas... drop me a messsage.

Its gonna be a xmas and b day pressent combined.

Until then... Hopefully all you out there can give me all the advice i need befor i buy a truly magnificent piece of machinery.

    Cheers

Welcome along! You've come to the best place!

I've a V6 - minus the twin turbos but proper VR4 owners will be along soon to help further. Without trying to blow the trumpet of the site in a cheesy way, becoming a full club member will give you access to so much information and buying guides (all unbiased) and will be the best purple note you could spend!

    Enjoy your stay! ;-)

    2001 Galant GTZ

Hello everyone! I am in the U.S., specifically in Tennessee. I have a 2001 Galant GTZ, 3.0 normally aspirated, factory cladding, lowered slightly, 18" wheels, aftermarket head and taillights, custom grille. I bought the car in 2002 with 20k miles. It now has 144,000. We didn't get the 8g in a VR4 here in the states, and we never got a Legnum in any form. Also, the 8g Galant was not offered with a manual transmission at all! I would love to someday own a VR4 Legnum 5speed, so I thought this looked like a good forum to join! If I can provide any info pertaining to the U.S. Galant situation I'll be glad to try. I don't know how many U.S. members you have. Thanks!

There is a guy on here called mantel who owns an 8th vr4 in the states. There is a guy called Eric who was based in the UK for a while and he decided taking his legnum back to the states was going to be too difficult.

I saw a load of 300's on the M6 yesterday. I guess you weren't one if you've already sold yours!

    Welcome both anyway!
