    Question AYC troubles

Hey people. Anybody got any ideas or info on AYC problems?
Self check fine. No warning lights staying on. AYC fluid level clean and on the mark. Wheel speed sensors fine i guess, as ABS working fine.
Problem is, AYC not doing anything while hard cornering. (no lights coming on when sliding around corners and loss of handling)
    Any help appreciated.
BTW. I live in Whitianga on the Coro Peninsula, so it's difficult to get it tested somewhere where they know what they're dealing with.

So the lights come up when the car is started?
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason

If there was a difference in tyre pressures, then the expected result would be to see the AYC lights come on, not stay off.

I'm told the Throttle position sensor can cause issues with the AYC, might be something else to look at prior to calling out a pump swap.

Can you check for any error codes?

That would be my next guess then, one of the sensors isn't working. Check the fault codes and it will tell you.

You can do it yourself pretty easily, search for "diagnostic codes"

at a guess i would say yaw sensor.

i dont know if evoscan or anything like that can do this, but in some cars you can pull it out and move it around in your hand while data logging what it is doing.

Found something interesting out. Disconnected the battery to eliminate speed cut. Found that after disconnecting the battery for approx 10 mins then reconnecting it, AYC starts working for a few days, then stops again....
