No
(just replied to yours BTW )
The best things in life have to be lubricated
Just ran your Chassis number through and your right it comes up with error message. On translation from the Japanese site, it says that Chassis Number no longer exists as the car was written off in a rear end shunt
it said all that on the error page? Your Japanese IS good.
I spoke to my local spishi garage and they say all work has been done, which could be true as a i've got loadsa receipts from spishi for servicing etc. But as many have said in this thread, don't trust your local garage.
Better ring spishi Uk I think.
Cheers anyway Glenn
You haven't heard of Babelfish then ??Originally Posted by WildCards

I get an error too..... You sure you've noted your chassis number down correctly? Seems to be a digit short?
hold on...
^Also needs to check this thread "na-night" ...
Ooops ... Wrong thread..
Ec5w-510-1525
Right ammount of Digits.. Just need to leave gap after first 4.. Still comes up with error..
Number looks to large anyway ??
EDIT: Unless the highlighted 5 denotes a Super VR4 ?? Ec5w-510-1525
Just got it to work.
Hang on - I'll run it again through excite.co.jp to translate it.
right, cheers chaps
Yup working now for me to..
Heater thingy outstanding
ASC outstanding
Ball Joints outstanding
Fuel Tank done
For some reason, both excite and babelfish keep throwing up errors.
Using the non-translated version, and then cutting and pasting the japanese text into babelfish, EC5W-5101525 has the following recall information.
1 2005/04/12 recall work unexecution of blower fan style amount controller of Garan, Regnam, and Aspaia
2 2003/11/20 recall work unexecution of reception desk suspension of three models such as Garan and Regnam (Roaarm)
3 2001/11/08 recall work unexecution of Garan and ASC of Regnam VR-4 series
4 The fuel tank of four models (4WD car) such as Garan and Regnam has been executed by 2000/07/26 recall work.
In tidied up english - You have four recalls and only one has been done. The ones outstanding are the fan wiring, the lower arms and the stability control system. See www.dogandlemon.com for more information.
Ouch the ASC system will cost about NZ$3,800 if Mitsubishi UK will not cover it. If it is not fixed, you can depress the brakes and simply roll through the intersection. Scary stuff. This is what took our "VR-4 Type S's" of the road in 2004 by our Land Transport Department.

We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
It does seem to be covered and is being payed for by Mitzy.. Mine had the recall and has been put right.Originally Posted by KiwiTT
I thought that if Mitzy has stated there is a problem with anything on the car and have asked for a recall, then they have to fix it at there own cost otherwise they are liable for prosecution. Or worse if they refused to fix the problem and like you say the car kept going when it should stop.
