and for good measure

Then cut it out!!! :rolleyes5
Trim the vent to size and try it in the hole
Glue the vent in place and remove all of the masking tape
Finally drill and pop rivet the edge to pull everything up tight until the glue goes off..........more later (when the glue has gone off!!)
How nervous were you cutting that hole in the bonnet? :scared1:
Are you going to get the paint shop to spray it when they do the back of the car?
OK so I cant drive round with it looking so white for however long it takes for my tailgate to arrive (yes Nick the bodyshop are going to prep and paint it properly).................So as a temporary solution a tin of special mix paint and some masking tape and it looks a little less in yer face!
And some tidying up in photoshop and you get the idea?!!
:rolleyes5
Add some photoshop finishing touches
et voila!
lookin good my man-loooookin good :-D
(dave did you get the e-mail i sent?.......any good to you?)
are you adding something under your bonnet to try and keep any water (not that we get much rain !) from running on to the top of your engine?

All that hard work and someone goes and nicks my bonnet!!
Oh, no there it is on the floor! I better start laminating some fibreglass on to the back to make sure it is rigid! :rolleyes5
While I am at it I think I will cut out the struts that go across the vent holes.....they look proper crap!
Lots of fibreglass to put the strength back and I will be fine
I am thinking that you didn't ought to mess with this bad boy :-b
Geez, a lot of work there Dave but it'll look great when finished. Hope you don't get the problems I once had with severe warping due to the heat.
With the bonnet off you can see I have some plans for some cold air feed
Sorry about the quality the clock is ticking!
