OK, time to stop photoshopping and get cutting :rolleyes5

First of all liberally coat the bonnet in masking tape so its easy to mark up and you dont scratch it to buggery!

How nervous were you cutting that hole in the bonnet? :scared1:

Are you going to get the paint shop to spray it when they do the back of the car?

OK so I cant drive round with it looking so white for however long it takes for my tailgate to arrive (yes Nick the bodyshop are going to prep and paint it properly).................So as a temporary solution a tin of special mix paint and some masking tape and it looks a little less in yer face!

While I am at it I think I will cut out the struts that go across the vent holes.....they look proper crap!

Lots of fibreglass to put the strength back and I will be fine

Geez, a lot of work there Dave but it'll look great when finished. Hope you don't get the problems I once had with severe warping due to the heat.
