    Catalytic converter Question

i need a new Catalytic converter for the nct.

There is none specific for the vr4, they have -

    Mitsubishi Galant 2.5i 24v V6 3/1997>2/2000 Saloon
    or
    Mitsubishi Galant 2.5i GLS 24v V6 3/1997>2/2000 Estate
    or
    Mitsubishi Galant V6-24v 4/1997>3/2000
    or
    Mitsubishi Galant V6 SPORT 3/2000>2/2001

Will any of these fit my facelift legnum vr4?

Short answer - no chance, sorry!

You may be able to get a sports cat (from the likes of TSL), or a cat that fits Evos IV to VI. I would suggest that you wait for someone to confirm that an Evo 4-6 cat fits though - I have based that on the fact that the decat pipe fits the VR-4, although don't know if the fitting space (and therefore possibly the shape of the cat) is different.

    Don`t buy cat`s from these.

My reason is very simple, 2 cats 2 fails within 7 months of buying them.

Both cats broke up inside to the point of blocking the exhaust flow and nearly killing my wife when it happened.

As always buyer`s beware & that`s only my opinion through experiance with them.

thanks for the warning. I found a local place to do it, a universal cat with 2 year warranty for €250 fitted.
