    Intermittent electrical noise

Hi all, a strange one perhaps. But I have recently noticed that I have an intermittent high pitched electrical noise (I don't know how best to describe it) which sounds like it comes from the passenger side of the car. It is a high, same pitch noise which lasts for a couple of seconds or so at a time and timing varies, but generally seems to do it a couple of times a minute. It's a faint sound, only notice it with the music off. Any ideas?

Have you changed and blubs in the dash or aircon control unit lately.
just a thought as my A/C control unit did this after i changed the bulbs to LED's, but only when i had my lights on obviously.

    lust a thought!

You might find that some water has come into the door and shorted out the wiring for the speaker.
I had this and rewired from the speaker to the headunit...AOK.

Interesting. Going to have to find some time to investigate I think.

Sounds like you have a dodgy earth somewhere. Most probably stereo. Could also check the negative terminal on your battery could also be a little loose.
