    Radiator oil feed help please

What is the oil going into the bottom of the radiator? Redish colour.
Anyone know what pressure it is at?
So I can do a pressure test on it.

Anyway I found the rubber hose on the drivers side feed was split in about 3 places, its only about 90mm long.
I am not sure if its just the rubber pipe that has spayed a heap of oil onto the radiator, to simulate a leak on there as well.

You got the wrong place mate.
The radiator bottom tank has two oil feeds, one just above the cross member, the other next to the radiator drain screw.

It was driven fine. I stopped up the drive and come back about 10 minutes later to find a puddle of oil under it.

That's definintely the transmission cooling line, pretty high pressure when running but doesn't retain it once the car has had time to settle after switching off. Use a high pressue hose suitable for oils when replacing it.

Does anyone now the size of these pipes? I'm changing my radiator this weekend & I may as well change these while I'm at it.
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

I might have some of these lying around Shane. We'd need to search through the lock up to find them.

100C might be a bit too cold, someone in the UK found their trans temp reached 120 to 130C sometimes (I think on a track though)

In normal driving it will be around 100C though which may be ok for a short period of time but I wouldn't trust it as a long term fix.
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason

like i said.. get a new kit with a cooler.. this will also allow you to get a alloy 45mm radiator in the future. kits sell for $100 new on TM. will also insure cooler trans temps. and extra bling. radiators are $280.
