i'm meant to be spending the day finding xmas presents for the family but i keep finding things i want
i am liking those a lot.
i never had an atari, i had a Philips video pac games system, technically better then the atari's of the time but they cought on.
just like we hand a Philips system 2000 video recorded, Not a betamax or vhs, butg again much better feature and you could record on both sides of the tape just like an auido tape, but they never caught on. i used to live in Fareham Hampshire, near portsmouth/southampton and our local System 2000 video rental shop was in Gilford surry.
Bye for Now!

I have used and still use minidisc! My first car had a minidisc player installed within hours of my buying it. I still have a minidisc player stero for the car, just wont ever use it! Its kind of obsolete now as CD writers and MP3 format have killed it, but I think it was a very good technology. My hifi at home is a minidisc unit and I still have some of my old compilation discs with songs that I dont have in MP3 format!
Back on topic, methinks that is ideal for Secret Santa at work. Super cool.
I guess I help Alan Sugar get to where he is now though! I had an Amstrad CPC464 as my first machine! The memories come flooding back of those classic games: Harrier Attack, the Roland games, International Karate+, Who Dares Wins (which took 20 minutes to load from a cassette tape). Wow!

i had a cpc464 as well witgh the 128k expansion on the back!!!! fantastic i think i may have to dig it out and have a play!!!! i still have books of games to type in!!!!
i have never heard of a phillips 2000 sounds like an interesting concept
its the porn industry that keeps killing things they chose vhs and betamax died out they chose blu-ray and hd dvd died out the power of porn!!!
and i still use my mini disc player regularly despite the car having mp3 conection because i love them i have a portable one and a recorder player on the stereo they never scratch never skip and have funky screens on the headphones cable!!!
