That doesn't sound like an immediately obvious problem. You could try copying all the data off one using the other PC's, then telling Win 7 to format that one just to see what happens.
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason

    It wont work Windows 7.
I have tried and failed. So I use another PC for it and just copy it across the network to the windows 7 PC.

2 things that is a let down. Camera Memory cards and Sound drivers for older hardware.

oh man are you serious?? damn... the 7 wont even let me access anything but itunes via the network tho,as it wants to use Media Centre to do so and only allows for other W7 pcs to connect

oh i feel your pain with net working pcing under w7.

have you ggiven all the pc's the same network group name ie:" MSHOME" and same pw? then you must "share" a folder with the group. that alone should allow you to share folders etc.

I am asumming thats a problem your havign too?

day dreaming of 13b's , huge ports and suicide doors, and a few other things too I cant say here.

I am using SD cards on Windows 7 that run perfectly well previous incarnations of Windows, and I don't recall having any problems in the change of software.......... have you tried to format the SD card after clearing any information held on it? I thought if you formated a disk/sd card with information on it, you would lose the information? So it might be a fail safe to prevent you from losing information.........
