our meets to seem to neglect the cars. a few pics and thats about it. poor Bill is still waiting to have bits and pieces fitted cos the socialising took precedence over the cars again although to be fair, the rain did add a sense of urgency to finding an eating establishment

The next meet we'll have a bit more time to fit Bill's bits & pieces. I did manage to fit Colins MBC
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

How long would it have taken to fit Bills bits as we only had 4 hours. Was it a big job?

Just out of curiousity what would you have preferred to have done with the meet Scanny. Just curious

im not criticising the meet Keith. i dont think the location allowed for too much in the way of getting our hands dirty anyway. from what i have seen there is a bit of variety between meets. braemar included going for a spin, knockhill was a car show, this one was socialising. they would get boring if the same people did the same thing every few months so theres nothing wrong with changing the venues and activities. i enjoyed it and i am glad i attended

Yeah they all vary and if you ever get to Combe you would love it, still Knockhill sounds like it will be a buzz I just hope I can get to it

thanks. im not after anything too extravagant. no bodykits or anything like that, apart from a PFL VR4 spoiler. im more interested in function than cosmetic enhancement with this car. i like their standard looks with the exception of that damn tailpipe. that really does get on my nerves lol

Hi Kieth, that Kadett looks realy nice, but we also talked of the Monza.I used to have a Royale which is the Vauxhall equivalent.
Will now be going to Castle Coombe and the bits I wanted to fit were the hardpipe kit,but will probably get this done before hand.

Just ask your boss nicely to re-arrange his wedding for some other date, not much to ask for a valued employee

Not sure what we are doing yet might be going down on the friday morning and then stop over in Cirencester which is always a good stop over and then the run down to Combe on saturday morning or we might just go down on the saturday morning about 3am to get to Combe about 7am to convoy in, what ever happens we will be shooting down to Devon after for a weeks holiday so well looking forward now.

9 weeks to go as of this saturday coming.
