intercooler pipe size

Hi, looking into getting a larger fmic, Just need to check size of pipework, the one I'm looking at has 3" outlets and didn't know if the pipes on our cars are 3" or 2.5". Don't want to buy 3" pipes and joiners to find they are too big, I would get reducers instead..

just a question i was going to ask, gonna get myself down to SFS one night as there literally round the corner from me and get some white ones made up, as my FMIC is currently sat in my boot!
