(dumb question) jump starting from galant

my work horse wudnt start this morning

and i drain the battery trying.

the fuel guage is dodgy on it so i have shoved £15 of diesel in it.

its a 1996 citreon (jokes later please) zx estate pile of poo but it does 50+mpg hence the work horse

i NEED to get it running by tomorrow morning i cant afford £15 a day in the vr-4 for work runs

this sounds stupid but..............is it ok to jump the ****ereon from the vr-4?

its drizzling but not heavy rain i dont fancy getting the galant engine wet but i need to get it running

advice as always apriciated

Dont see why not. Provided the battery is healthy on the VR4, it should provide enough power to jump start the Citroen.

the battery is healthy....what about the weather should be ok for short amout of time wont it? i get paranoid over the vr-4 lol its not hammering it down just drizzling

Don't use cheap **** jumper leads - only use ones with surge/anti spike protection
