    Front number plate mount

How have people mounted their (uk style) number plates?
I own an official Ralliart import so the uk plate has a rather strange slightly smaller back plate to it.
I recently had some lovely person touch park my front bumper and the plate has bent out with the self tappers pulled out.

I was thinking of removing the whole thing and starting again. (plate and smaller back plate mount)

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You can either do what Ian has done, otherwise for a full sized UK numberplate you'll need a bracket. It's a black metal one and bolts into the same bumper screw holes you can see when you remove your front plate.

I did have a spare but sold it to another member on here earlier this year. I wouldn't bother going to a dealer, instead find someone on here or on eBay who is breaking a UK saloon or estate and get the part that way. Alternatively get number plate double sided adhesive strips (from Halfords, for example) and do it that way. :-)
