    2.0 16v the same as 2.4gdi

hi guys, just a quick question for you.
    will a radiator from a 'v' plate 2.0 16v galant fit into my 2.4 gdi (03 )
and also are front cross members the same???
i had an argument with asda's 'no trolleys beyond this point' sign last night when i hit a patch of oil on a sharp bend.
many thanks for your time and knowledge

I believe that the mounting points are identical, and the only difference is that the 2.0 radiator is thinner.

Yep, the 2.4, 2.5 and VR-4 all share a thicker radiator. The 1.8, 2.0 v6, 2.0 4g63 and 4g94's all have a thinner radiator. I think the diesel has a thick one too.
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason

Perhaps as a temporary measure, yes but I'd recommend fitting the proper part.
