yeh nice tints aswell! its a shame they didny colour code the wheels while they were at it
We had the same this morning! I reckon there was about an inch of snow fell last night after we got home from work. Made for a rather slow, interesting drive in this morning but thankfully uneventful. It only feels like a couple of months ago since last winter too
Still nothing here, although a few slight flurries on the way home from Sheffield last night. Some heavy-looking clouds now appear to be looming though!

Sounds like a good excuse to use the VR over the next month or so
Interested to see how much of a diff snow tyres would help/make too
Know what you mean with snow tyres. No option but tranny unfortunately as is delivery day at work.
we got about 3inch in germany, is only gonna get better tho, cant wait to get rid of my rear weel drive for a vr4 next week. winter tyres are the way forward, its the law here and with good reason.
no sign of snow here in daventry yet, in fact it looks like a summers day, clear blue skies. just wish it felt like a summers day.
for all of you that have got snow drive careful!
Finally got my winter tyres fitted, 225/45/H17 Wintrac Extremes. Given the last two years' weather as well as the forecast it's probably for the best. I reckon the VR4 will be great in the snow now, must find a suitable place to test it once a decent layer of snow arrives.

I'v got a set of Vredestein Wintrac Extremes on too (235/45 R17 97V XL) - bought them in April from mytyres.co.uk for £150 fitted per corner. Last time I checked they were going for £190+ this winter - guess it pays to buy them out of season!
Very happy with their performance these last few days in the snow - braking distances are much improved and no problems getting traction on compacted snow.
Suppost to get worse over the weekend up here in the NE
