Higher contrast feedback icons

Hi guys,

I recently noticed that with the new site template the feedback icons have changed, before they all looked the same, now there's an ever-so-faint subtle difference.

Looking at the filenames for respective images, there's not just the 3 red / grey / green, there's actually at least 5.. bright red / dark red / grey / dark green / bright green.

The problem is that (in particular with the green ones) the changes in intensity are too subtle to be noticed unless you really squint at them. Here is an example of Nutter_Johns current reputation blown up to 4x size (not that his ego needs this, hehe )..



Here they are stacked up against one another for visibility:

High negative rep
Low negative rep
Balanced / Neutral rep
Low positive rep
High positive rep

I'd like to suggest these get replaced by some higher contrast icons (you could probably get away with just adding a 20% darken filter on Low rep images)

Actually, they used to do this on the old site too. It's also the sort of thing I notice!

The differential is not relevant though, I've noticed. The first five blobs are the darker green, and any after that are the lighter green.

Ahh yes, so you're right, still could do with slightly higher contrast icons though
