    Coilover adjustment

Just been giving the galant a quick once over and after having a look around the site have worked out that I have ralliart adjustable coil overs. The ride is bone shatteringly hard so want to soften it up a bit. So do I adjust the shock setting (currently on 4), adjust the springs, they're compressed to the max, or a bit of both?

    Cheers

I'd say try the dampers first as they'll be easier to adjust! If that doesn't do much then do the springs. They shouldn't be compressed too much so that's possibly your issue right there. Just take note of how much you back them off by so if it doesn't work or you don't like the new settings, you can put them back the way they were.
Just remember that after you play with the spring compression, you might have to get the tracking reset as it might settle a bit differently to the current settings.
Have fun & don't get too cold!
