    Manual to Auto

Yes you read right Manual Conversion to Automatic

My Brother owns a VR4 but his Wife cant drive manual so i have to now convert it to an Automatic WTF
im using Richards(on-boost) Complete drivetrain to do this manuever, but im stuck in 2 minds on Wiring...

im using richards(onboost) complete drivetrain and am in 2 minds.
now i know the FL cars dont come with TCL,ASC,ACD correct? or
wich means if so i have to use a wiring loom from that type of car as if i use the other(TCL) ill end up with errors or wiring mismatching, thus meaning i have to change the tower looms,LH-RH and the crash bar loom, aswell as the dashboard loom then..

also will i nned to run a FL Trans ECU for the Box or will i be ok with a PFL one? it has an external filter on it..

can anyone think of any other reason i wont need to or anything else i didnt think of?
i know iv done millions of conversions etc but this is NEW to me iv never reversed the order and it CAN be somewhat complicated too

im never too old to learn something new so please teach away..

Why not swap any good parts on his car over to an auto?
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason

I've converted PFL manual V6 into FL auto V6. But I didn't use the whole loom (cause there was no factory loom for that purpose at all), but only FL A/T part of it and made the hybrid loom with PFL one... Took two days working on wiring only

The PFL A/T ECU on FL gearbox will work, but not perfectly. Not quite smooth shifts...

thanx Alex i apreciate the help.

Brad he is persistant on owning a White,VR4 with sunroof and black on Tan combo interior and as i resrayed this 1 he wants to keep it,stupid i know...

anyhow,iv removed the complete interior loom up front,im hoping to get away with the side looms.
a bonus i found(well ihope so) if someone can guarantee this for me is the car is INFACT a 98 with plastic case 7202 ecu inside so does this then mean the loom is effectivly a Facelift Loom then throughout the car??

if so YAY on the Fuel relay wiring lol....

please any help will be greatly apreciated

You have box with external filter, hence pfl one. IIRC, those boxes require pfl ecu and asc/tcl ecu to run smooth.
    Ex: Galant VR4
Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

There's a part numbers on the loom, Q...
    And then, there's ASA...

    I had a PFL 97 with 7202 plastic case...

Might be simpler to buy a good white tipp, and swop the interiors.
Its gotta be a whole lot easier, and I'm sure you'd make money on the manual.
Thats what I'd do if it were me that was asked to do the job.

If I'd a brother as fussy as that I'd disown him, even at christmas time.
On second thoughts specially at christmas time.
