    wont run

The engine will turn over and fire but then splutters and cuts out, have checked all the pipe work, pulled the plugs and filter anything else I could check?

    Fault codes

    T/C light
    75 (Engine ecu system13H-9)
55 (motor system (pump motor adherence the channel 13H- 6)

    E/M light
    23 (TDC sensor systems or cam position sensor systematic 13A- 14 13 A- 15)

and a couple of others relating to the ayc.

What do these codes mean and could this be the reason it wont run?

    cheers

    Dan

Check the connectors on the left of the engine near the dipstick as you have a cam/crank sensor warning

Ok, she's running, a bit rough at idle and a fair bit of smoke, still unsure what is/was the problem, read a few posts and went out and had a play, first off check and cleaned the crank sensor, cheers john, swapped plugs and battery with mine, checked and cleaned every plug, lead and connector in the engine bay then cranked her over with the crank sensor disconnected. put a squirt of fuel through the spark plug holes refitted the plugs and hey presto she's running.

disconnected the battery to reset the ecu, left it for a few hours and reconnected, usual lumpy idle but all fault codes have gone but when I put my foot down it revs to about 2500 and the splutters and cuts out but only when driving, in idle and I do it its fine. Checked all the boost pipes and fittings and the only one that doesnt seem to fit right is the hard plastic intake pipe (where you would usually put an MBC), it stays on but the more you tighten it the more it pulls out from the bottom. It doesnt look or sound like its leaking but it definatly doesnt fit properly. any suggestions?

I'd be suspicious of the cam sensor with that error code and those symptoms.

No, cam and crank sensors are separate sensors.
Cam sensor is on the front cam and the Crank sensor is tucked in behind the crank pulley.
But both have a inline connect by the dip stick as stated in one of the above posts.

    Bye for Now!
