    This car was imported by Altomoto of Formby in 2006 and I bought it from them.
    It has a manual gearbox.It has 114,000 on the clock, 102,000 of which is kilometres. I have done 12,000 miles since I bought the car.
    I renewed the cambelt, aux. belts, and waterpump in 2008 at 104,000km. All transmission fluids are Amsoil.
    It has a Witter towbar (unbolts and stores with space-saver)
    Sony FM/DAB CD/MP3 player
    Luggage net
    Thatcham cat 2 immobilizer
    Mechanically it is excellent, but will need new front discs and pads for next MOT. I have left these as a new owner might want to uprate them, but I'd be prepared to fit new ones if required.
    There is a small dent on the bonnet and a couple on the driver's side doors. The front bumper has been resprayed to remove stone chips. One rear wheel arch has been resprayed and shows signs of bubbling up again, but overall the bodywork looks pretty clean and tidy.

    Also, let me know if you decide to just sell the down pipes
    Possibly the only VR4 that was driven by the current owner before being registered..... & it's a UK car

    OK, I'll leave it for now and see what happens. If it doesn't sell on here I will be putting it on Pistonheads, etc, so I will review it further then.

    Its easier to reduce that increase if interest. Still think thats realistic & pistonheads has always worked wonders for my cars

    Cheers. If you (or anyone else) supply me with good condition standard downpipes and system, I'd be prepared to swap it for what's on the car, as I don't think the big-bore will be helping to sell it.
    But as Aboo says, the RPWs aren't proving very durable. Mine are fine, though, cos I'm a careful driver

    I've now fitted new front discs and pads (they were only £88 all-in from Camskill). So should sail through the MOT, with the cat put back on. If I still have it nearer the time, I'll put another 12 months on.

    The car now has a standard exhaust + downpipes on it, as I did a deal with someone on here and we swapped them on Saturday. I've also removed the turbo timer as it wasn't necessary; I wish I'd removed it years ago! (if anyone wants it PM me). So the car is totally standard, except for the towbar.
    I'll be advertising it elsewhere in the next few days, probably asking £2500. So if anyone's interested let me know via PM.

    This is now on Pistonheads at £2200, and I'm open to offers.
    The tax+MOT run out at end of April. It would easily pass the MOT, but I'm starting to wonder if it's worthwhile spending the money.
    I really don't want to break it, as I've put quite a lot of work into it, and I think the car is too good for that. And of course, breaking it would mean more work and lots of hassle.
    What do you guys think? Is it worth T+Ting it again and holding out for a decent price? Or should I stick it on ebay with a low reserve?

    I've put another 12 months MOT on this, but not renewed the tax yet. Had it on ebay for £1800 and got an offer of £1350 from a guy in Norway.
    I'll sell for £1600 without tax, or add 6 or 12 months tax at cost on top of that.

    I should add that on the MOT I got advisories for the back tyres being near the legal limit, and 4x brake pipes showing signs of corrosion. I haven't looked, but I imagine they just need cleaning up and a bit of paint or grease putting on them.
