What speeds were people getting to at the end of Quarry?
Last year, I was touched 109-110mph before braking, but this year I was easily seeing 120mph. And I was only on track for about 5-6 laps so was still lifting off/braking early.
My only track session was ruined by overheating. Saw the temp gauge get to just under the red block so I slowed right down and pulled off. Managed to get about 2 litres of water into the rad soon after, so I may have to check my cooling system for leaks! But the car was fine on the drive home and on the 300mile round trip I did yesterday.

I saw 180plus before the slow down for Quarry!!!!
in km/h lol
I hit the limiter at least 5secs before the first breaking cone.....the speedo needle was off the dial!
I really need to get it changed to mph, and therefore push speed cut to 180mph lol
Still here somewhere........
I did have a look a couple of times and was getting about 120mph coming up Avon Rise.
1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition
I got to about 120 on the M3 on the way home!
Ok that makes sense. So I must have been very slow the last couple of years and I dont recall getting past 110!
very nice too meet all the faces(new and old),nice to put a face to a name.
had a great time and a great couple of days away, first session was brillant fun,bit nervous at the start with some amature locking up in front of me just after the pit lane and scareing the bejesus out of me(you know who you are...),but with a half sober co-polit pushing me,it all came together from there on in...and then had brillant fun out there!!!
Then setting off for the 2nd session and found the rear drivers wheel flat as a pancake......"GUTTUED IS AN UNDERSTATMENT",but what can you do.went into chippingham to get it repaired and the sidewall was too badly damaged so had to fit new tyre.......son of a bitch!!!!
so lost the second session and £70 out of pocket for new tyre .....getting grumpy now!!!! pint pint pint pint
headed out that nite and had a great bit of crack.....salt pepper, mustard and vinegar(some more than others) along with a few shots of some coulered bubblegum stuff!!!! big sick head on me sun morning.
home now after 750 miles, total wrecked but total worth it!!!!!!!!
thanks to steve-vr4ish for cat and to GWOF for prop shaft and the help fitting it.....(chat to ya soon.)
