Just a minor update, legs healing up nicely, onto partial weight bearing and physiotherapy now, also able to drive short distances without too much hassle (although I really shouldn't be).

Another couple of months and I'll be running

One oddity to come out of this is the fact I've lost 1.5 stone (10 kilos) since the accident, I've not been getting a fat lot of exercise as you can imagine but I guess the extra effort that goes into moving around is paying off!

12 months later, just had my last X-ray, bone has FINALLY healed (took its merry time!);

The only problem now is one of the screws holding it all together has migrated through the bone and is catching on tendons when I walk (in particular, up stairs);

Just had this today (given 1 weeks notice, typical NHS), about an hour under general anaesthetic, all seems to be okay but damn is my knee stiff, no driving for a week or so

Also heard some horror stories about this mornings crash on the M5, although officially the news have only let it slip there's been 1 fatality, there's actually been 5
