It's weird what some car manufacturers supply !

I've just been clearing some cr@p out of my saaaab, before it goes, & found a couple of weird items!

I know mitsi supply distress flares with VR4's.... But saaaab supply there own branded dash board wipes, & a large cloth bag for putting your punctured tyre in so it doesn't dirty the boot !!

Why ????

flares are damp squibs at this time of their life......i tried one many moons ago, just left a red chalky puddle!!

i read that bmw had an xbrace for the e36 m3 as an optional extra ,but if you fitted one your warranty was void!!!

I always love how well equipped the 5 series and the 8 series, with their built in rechargable glovebox torches, an actual tool kit with screwdriver and spanners, everything you need to do remedial repairs on the side of the road.
