Midlands Rolling Road meet - 26th March 2011 - Solihull (S.E. Birmingham)

Rev it Road and Race are based in Solihull, just off the M42 J4. They know about Club VR4 and are happy to host a dyno day for us. The cost will be £35 a car, unless we can get 10 or more, at which point it will be £25 a car. They will log boost and AFR for us too.

Please let me know if you can/can't make it as the guys at Rev It need to know how many of us are running. So I'll do two lists below - people planning to run and people just turning up for a natter!

At the moment we are capping the dyno runs to 20. If there is genuinely a lot of demand for more than that then Rev It will get extra bodies in to help speed up turnaround so more can be done.

Have you got Boost gauge ? MBC can be done by Members on the day on the road before you go on the RR. Then just a tweak maybe needed when on the Rollers.. Have you got a Wideband Controller fitted for adjusting AFR's ? Otherwise.. Maybe a Remapped Kinky/Nutter ECU would be more suitable ?

I have gauge for MBC but no idea about the wideband. How can I tell. It has a gauge but don't think sensor has been changed if that helps

Narrow Band gauges will normally only show Lean/(Stoich/Optimal)/Rich or Red/Green/Yellow.. Where as a Wide band will show the exact AFR..

Chris - I'll ask them about MBC set up. What are you planning to use to control the AFR's? I thought that was what you wanted the unichip for. I don't think they are Dastek dealers.

Don't worry about it Nick, I will try to get it all sorted before I come. Mid process trying to get some down pipes made so hopefully get them on before then get the Unichip set-up.

Should be a good turn out by the looks of it & looking forward to it
