Isn't the OUTER TRE the one at the wheel end, so the joint would be concealed in the squishy rubber (filled with grease) bit here? http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...22b0s1402p5564
EDIT: I.e. the 'cover' would be the rubber boot, and it is possibly split?
