DESCRIPTION: is time i seriously considered parting with this toy because i just don't drive it (it's not my daily driver).
i say toy because it literally has been pampered to death (washed and polished/detailed more than it's driven).
it's covered less than 1000 miles in the past 2 years and it's come to the point that the polishing has finally become a chore rather than enjoyment
it's in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically (although me being particularly fussy i'd say new discs n pads would make it perfect)

it will simply remain a toy until somebody out there wants it

Wonder if you might be helped if you could get some pictures up of the known rust trouble areas, e.g. rear wheel arches, underneath, etc.? From looking at it, I bet the dreaded grot is non-existent on this car!

Nev: You're assumption is correct. There's no rot in this car.
TBH, I didn't know there were any typical rust areas with these cars but you're suggestion to take other photos is nevertheless a good idea.
I'll pop some wheels off to take a few snaps and update the photo album.
