I work in Bridgend quite a lot, so the next time I'm down, probably in 8 days time I will come and have a look if it hasn't been sold.

Hi, I'm interested in your Legnum as its not too far away from me and looks ok in the pictures i think? I got a little confused with the post about mileage, what is the actual mileage covered?
My wifes not keen on an estate, so i'll get back to you as soon as i convince her that estates are good.
LOL, even i am getting confussed with the mileage now, as i didnt realise that when i converted the speedo that it would convert the ODO as well.
i converted the speedo at 137,800KM which when converted to miles (using online covertor thingy) works out about 85127 miles. clocks now showing 150,000 so since clocks converted it has done 12,200miles. therefore mileage should now be 97,327 ish..
i hope that hasnt confussed you more but if i have worked it out properly it should be 97,327 ish.
PM me if you need any more info or more pics as i should have more some where.
bump
weekly bump.
anyone want to make me an offer on this, seems there are rust spots appearing on the front struts and i just cant afford to have this repaired now. seems a waste, but i do not have the room or the stuff to strip it myself.
The rust doesn't look to bad from your engine bay pics. Mine is worse & I'v seen even worse than mine. I'v seen them with holes.
Don't know if it has gotten worse since you took the pics & if it was a member that came to see it but I would keep the price the same cause its still a very good price for what it is.
If I had the spare cash I would be seriously considering this.
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

Can you show a close rang picture of those rust spots?
Sometimes it's just little surface rust where metal is welded together but after good clean and treat it's fine, just may give a wrong impression.
Also advice you to check from inside of wheel arches. take a wheel out, wheel arch liners and then a close look. If it's really rusty, then... yhmm... not good.
Ex: Galant VR4

Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar
I agree with Tomasz. I have it on the top but the wheel arches are solid.
i agree with tomasz and andy , have it looked at properly or even let a more technical member have a look and get advise ,
if you drop the price much more you would be better off stripping it.
am tempted to give you an offer but it would low .shooting my self in the foot honestly get another opinion .
It's very rare that you will get rust just on top, it almost always starts at the bottom. It was me that went to see it and its coming through from the bottom. It's weldable but I would rather find one that doesn't need welding. Other than that I would have bought the car.
i will see what i can do over the weekend, but unfortunatly it does not have any tax or insurance so i cant take it anywhere with a ramp. i will see if i can jack it up and take a look from under neither.
i really appreciate all you comments, but i am willing to accept some sensible offers from memebers who want to make one, as i really need it gone now.
i wont take silly money for it, other wise i may look to strip it but i am not really in a postion to do so with the lack of room and gear to do so.
again thanks everyone, it has made me feel a little better knowing other poeple have this also, but offer away if you want.
this has been niggling me now so i have popped home and jacked the car up and taken some pics of the top and under side of the arches, what you guys reckon??
i am hoping they are in the order of passenger side 1st 2 pics, drivers side last 2 pics.
no they are not in the correct order, the underside pics should be the other way around. i hope you understand what i am trying to say...lol
Sorry to see that dude. OK you say sensible offer, so whats your very bottom amount you wanna take?
ok guys, i understand this needs some work now, and i could really do with the space now, so a very reluctant £1200.
Very honest pics there, Simon. Nice to see (if you know what I mean).
Hopefully you'll shift it without too much bother. Pretty sure Steve doesn't have enough VR-4s...
