    "Nope she's an '89, this is one of the last cars made in that year, one of the first to come out as a facelift. I was confused when I saw this at first too! Thanks"

    yeah peach you may want to change that auction. yours is a late 1998 not a 89. and yours is not the 280hp as it is the type V which only runs 260hp tune.
    not trying to be a dick but that auction is incorrect they didnt make 8th generation galants until 96' or 97' and facelifts until the end half of 98

    It'll still be a 280PS from the factory - like all facelift (phase 2) VR-4s.

    Only pre-facelift (phase 1) autos were 260PS.
    October 2023 fleet status: 100% operational

    I know I know I know... real f up there, but thanks anywho and yeah pretty sure the FL is still a 280 tune, the pre FL had the 260 tune..

    well i remember when you bought the car the previous owner said it was running a flat 7psi boost which is the same number as the PFL autos which have the 260 hp. unless you have had a boost gauge on it scince then and confirmed it at 9-10 psi
    removal of the restrictor pill will fix that tho anod then a quick reflash of the ecu will see you up to a bar of boost or more if you wish. also removal of speed cut and boost cut mentioned in trademe auction can be removed

    Did know that but thanks any ways. As far as I know she's running 9psi, and my sources tell me what the others in this thread have said, which is that the FL tune is 280hp
