Hi there,

Can you tell me if I am doing something wrong.

I have tried to upload some images as per the how to guide (thank you Barry), however in My Profile - Media: I have nothing showing and if I click on : Click here to browse all media uploaded by Carlby, it shows loads of files/ folders but not my folders or pictures ??

Also, for the Garage I can not find UserCP either in My Profile - Garage or in Club VR4 Garage ?


Have these how to pages been updated after the site upgrade?

OR

Am I doing something wrong ?

Looking forward to your advice so I can finnaly add some pics

Hi Carl,

Firstly, if you upload images using the FUM, they will appear only in that thread, did you try to upload some images but they did not attach? or show in thread?

Secondly, the HOW TO guides were written specifically for CVR4 V2, so they should be up-to-date.

Thirdly can you make sure that you are using the correct version of the members bar? - it should be set to FULL, HOW TO Guide here

fourthly, hehe! - Media in your profile represents videos you have uploaded to the CVR4 Media Library

and finally phew! UserCP = User Control Panel, clicking either "edit profile" or "edit settings" will see you arrive at your user control panel - i'll update the thread now to make it clearer.

I hope you enjoyed ya cuppa tea coz I'm back again, (sorry for being a pain)

1) I was trying to save some images to use in a future thread (show some parts I am trying to sell)

2) I am new to the whole forum thing and my IT skills may be a bit lacking on here (Word/ Excel etc I'm good with lol)

3) It looks like I am on the Members Bar Basic - Managed to fix this one

4) Sorry, my understanding of Media was wrong, I thought it would be anything I have uploaded.

5) Found it now I have got the Full Members Bar.

6) Enjoy another well deserved cuppa (go on put a tipple in it )

Sorry, me again.

When I first log on I get a "Home Screen"

Under the top JapFest Banner on the right hand side it tells " CVR4 - Log in Carlby " how ever I can not get in to my profile or notices from this page (again I could be missing a trick here)

What I have been doing is scrolling 2 thirds of the way down on the right hand side, find my name and click on that. to then get the Full members bar up, is there an easier way ?

or

Can it be amended so the User name at the top "CVR4 - Log in Carlby" goes to the same place?

Just clip on Forum at the top right then scroll down to what's new. That's what I do.

I personally have What's new bookmarked, so when i click on the cvr4 link on my browser i go there directly, 1 click saved is a click gained!
