    Reverse Light failure

Hi has anyone experienced Reverse Light failure? I've tried changing the fuse but it blows as soon as I put it in reverse gear. Checked the plug on gearbox and looks ok. Feel a bit of a div putting my Hazards on every time i reverse!

You won't be able to live without it come MOT time though and PC Plod won't be too keen on it either.

Definitely something along the reverse wiring is shorting out, need to follow it from switch to bulb and back again. You could try taking the bulb out before putting it in reverse which would confirm which side of the circuit the fault is on.

Hmm, something that's tested here but not in the UK, interesting.

Yeh surprising isnt it?You'd think reverse lights would be more important than the horn, yet the Horn is part of the MOT here
