Vitaly looked like he walked away relatively okay, although I guess he'll have a couple of bruises from that! Awesome to watch, brown trousers to be driving I guess....

Not sure I saw a reason for Hamilton to get a 20 second penalty. I'd like to see a replay of that. I guess they will show it some time during the China coverage.

It was said in the replay later that he did to many move to defend his position. Thought that was what racing was all about?

My understanding is that you can only go off the racing line once to defend your position. Each corner resets the rule, AFAIK. Any more than that is deemed dangerous and therefore carries a penalty. I am sure he will have done it if he has been given a penalty, it's just that I didn't notice it.

I think it was on the main straight, after the start/finish line. I do recall at the time thinking he moved twice, but as the commentators never mentioned it I forgot all about it. You can bet your life Alonso didn't though when he got called up to the stewards

I've read elsewhere that the 'FIA-mandated shear joint in the SC let go as designed' upon landing. Obviously curtains for the race. Looked good though!

Being on sky I replayed this 6 or 7 times and laughed just as hard the 7th times as I did the first, bet he's happy that he had a helmet to cover his face as he browned his seat!
