Is it recommended to fix additional rear muffler to VR4 ?

The standard rear mufflers looks kind of cool like golf ball launcher and with more and more cars that comes standard with twin exhausts / mufflers...I was thinking of fitting an additional one on the right hand side to make it look cool !

Any improvement or drop in performance with such a mod ?
