    Please help, I'm stuck.

    Hi Guys,

At the moment I am trying to fit a KBTV Speedo Convertor/Delimiter to my Legnum (Manual).
I was wondering if anyone can help confirm what the wires are on the speed sensor plug. There are 3, Black, Yellow and White. I am guessing the Yellow is the signal wire, the Black is the earth and the white is the live.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
    Alan.

    Hi Alan

I've not performed this task myself.. But there is a full article in the Full Members resource section, excellently written by Bernmc

    Cheers

The swear barrel is full and overflowing now.
Finished installing the KBTV speedo convertor/delimiter, then took the car for a spin. Speedo is not working now and the engine starts stuttering at 4500rpm.
Given up with it for the night, will have to strip it all down tomorrow and recheck everything.

Double checked everything today, all connected up exactly as Bernmc had in his article in the members section. Advice from KBTV also matches this information.
I decided to remove the KBTV chip and return the wiring back to the way it was and cut the green and white wire with two silver dots at pin 16 at the ECU.
Speed limiter has been removed, but speedo still reads in KPH, but at least it is working again.

For some reson the KBTV thing had the opposite effect, could only get to 60kmh and the engine started stuttering at 4500rpm and the speedo didn't work at all
Gave up with the KBTV thing, returned the wiring at the speed sensor back to the way it was and cut the green/white wire with 2 silver dots at pin 16 at ECU.
The speedo needle now goes of the clock but the car still increases speed. Might have to get a bigger reading KMH speedometer.
