Breaking Mitsy 1 – PFL V6 – 194.7BHP Hamilton silver Sedan

Hi all, it pains me to say that Mitsy 1 is finally going to be broken, the date is currently unknown because I am hellishly busy at work so it could be June.

She is a hybrid 2.5L V6 24V / VR4 Galant – note no turbo, she is pushing 194.7BHP check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urJR_0-ESfE the first run was something like 198.8 but it topped the graphs, what you see is the second too the 3rd run.

I have a list of parts, to follow, rules are first person to make an offer gets first refusal at my asking price. Note the asking price excludes delivery, this is collection only, however I am happy to assist in arranging courier collection, or club members arranging group pick up. I would however prefer assistance in the break on the day and if this is the case a reduction in price can be negotiated.

Edit: I am currently shipping most parts Via Royal mail and UPS to members so don’t panic if you are not in the area, you can pay for the parts prior shipment then sort out the shipment afterwards. I can get rough but they are roughly quoted price before delivery.

I did not list the suspension although it will be for sale, currently the setup is VR4 Struts all round with Spax lowering springs on the front but VR4 lowering springs on the rear.

I intend to change the front lowering springs back with the original VR4 springs and then put the lowering springs on Mitsy 2.

Therefore during or soon after braking her a complete set of original VR4 shocks and springs will be available, the scrap guy said he would take the carcass away only if we can roll her on and off the back of his truck, so I guess I will need to leave a set on her to do this, or make something to replace them.

If you are prepared to assist me during the break and help me put the lowering springs on Mitsy 2 and we can figure a way of rolling her away you can have the VR4 struts and springs (they have done about 40K) for nothing.

Opps sorry Chap, now amended, don’t think I am going to Japfest this year but I am sure we can find a cheap postage solution, either direct to you or via club internal postage. Failing that my best mate owns a haulage company and I can find out how much to do placed pallet drops throughout the UK, so don’t worry.

If your desperate for them I can remove them ASAP but you will incur standard postage, so best option is to wait for other members to help out with internal postage.

The new bearings were £79 + VAT and other nasty charges, changed about 200 miles ago, once again the car needs to roll onto the back of the recovery vehicle, so you are welcome to them at a price but she needs to be mobile after the removal.

I think the Box itself is, but the scoop has a resonator underneath.

They don’t look too bad; actually they are about 2 to 3 years old and at a guess have done about 15K – 20K tops, Tried to take photos but bloody had to see them without removing bits and bobs / jacking her up, if I get a chance over the weekend I could always have a better go at taking some photos for you.
