That's not a good day for someone.
Nah, feel for him.
Oops
Come on then chaps, get yer fingers out.
My videos are now in the media library. Apologies for the poor quality, very disappointed how badly the camera seemed to cope with the sun and washed everything out........but hey, something is better than nothing.
Pics from the evening before, and pics leading up to the first track session.

I've got some to post which Ill do very very soon.
Some great pics there Barry, good work sir
And a great vid, Pete. Really happy with my lines in the second session there
i am with you there pete,
i can't believe there was not a gaggle of people running to there cars to get fire extinguishers out and at least having a go at putting out rather tan letting it burn.
i know you are not supposed to try and tackle things yourself but i couldn't stand around and watch while somebody elses pride and joy burn.
it looked like an oil fire, ATF by the colour of the smoke.
as the saying goes,
"but for the grace of the great petrolhead in the sky go you or i"
gutted for him.
that is why i have 2 small fire extinguishers in the car at all times. they might be enough to save it.
Bye for Now!
some great picture there barry,
i had assumed the weather was going to bad on saturday as it was p*ssing it down in manchester.
looks like you had a great day.
It's worse than that.......here's what's being said on the MLR:
"The car belongs to gt-culture on the gtroc. He was on the track and loses some oil so come in. He said he never wiped it clean before returning to the track. An electrical fault caused the car to start smoking, so he come back in. Got out the car and had an extinguisher in hand, the Marshall would not allow him back to the car, so he had to watch as smoke become flames that become big flames.
The first Marshall that turned up had an empty extinguisher!! So had to still watch his freshly built car burn. "
Great pics everyone. Particularly enjoyed the session 1 vid Pete. Thats the longest I've seen me on track................. ever !!!
Nick will hopefully sort our vid out early in the week. Had 3 mini cams on board so hopefully something worked
