Donnington. Evening Track Session.

Im thinking of trying an evening session at Donnington. Wednesday the 1st of June suits me best, but if others want to attend then I can be more flexible.

Briefing at 5pm with Open pit lane format from 5.30pm until 8.30pm.

Currently with book a track this is £135 with passengers going free.

Having loads of fun until we discovered this!!

Another set of tyres, well one to be exact, the nsf delaminated. I think its down to aggressive cornering and taking kerbs hard (read hooligan drift)

Some pics, car handles a dream, still understeery a bit but now the rear is tightened up a drift is a lot easier to induce! Godards was fun!!!!

Yup, new tyres, reckon 25-30 laps max! One tank of fuel!

As all other three are intact im beginning to wonder is a manufacturing fault, will be contacting the supplier tomorrow morning.

I dont think so, if it was geometry then surely the other front tyre would have more wear marks on it as the car 'pulls' left or right to counteract incorrect setup?

Exhuberance through bends, on the kerb, more rough surface than smooth tarmac, a little throttle for flavour and excess wear on tyre...?

Just rolled the car forward to inspect the entire tyre....now this throws up a conundrum....the delamination isnt the entire circumference of the tyre!
