A few bits and pieces

Ok, i've got myself a new car and i need some bits to get it looking lovely. I'm just after a few prices and what have yous as i just spent all my money on the car and new fitted alarm. So i wont be looking to buy anything for a few weeks.

Its a 1997 Legnum VR4 in silver with black cloth interior.

I'm after:

*side repeater lenses preferably clear or smoked (are these the same as uk galant?Not needed now as the wife insisted that she couldn't possibly drive it with one missing, so i picked up a pair off ebay lol
*black plastic trim piece that goes at the bottom of the drivers side windscreen pillar, its a little speaker cover. Not needed now as i found it in the boot lol

1. engine cover and bolts( i know these are probably pretty sort after but i don't mind one that has small cracks in it)
2. boot carpet in black provisionally sorted
3. Center console trim with all the bits ashtray etc, the main section that has the stereo in it. I'm not fussed about it being wood effect as it will be getting refinished (tempted to sticker bomb it)
4. Tailgate interior upper trim.
5. Little plastic dust gaurd thing that goes at the base of the AT gearshift shaft.


Thats it for the time being, but i'm sure i'll be looking for some more bits soon enough.

I might have a few bits for sale that came with the car that i'm not sure on yet. i'll post a FS when i decide.

1. side repeater lenses preferably clear or smoked (are these the same as uk galant?) It could be the same as a UK Galant sport but there are several different patterns so you might be lucky if not buy a pair!
2. boot carpet in black I might be able to help with that?
3. black plastic trim piece that goes at the bottom of the drivers side windscreen pillar, its a little speaker cover. I think that sounds like the small vent that sits around there possibly?
4. engine cover and bolts( i know these are probably pretty sort after but i don't mind one that has small cracks in it) I too might be able to help with a cracked one & possibly bolts?

I cant provide any of the bits, but can help with the following info...

1. Side repeaters are the same as UK Galants (saloon or estate)
2. Which panel? The main centre part with the folding part and the handle?
3. Thats the tweeter cover
4. Try PeterM. He did some carbon ones a little while ago.

thanks guys, i'll hit you up in a few weeks Steve to check if you have the bits. As for the repeaters i might aswell buy a pair off ebay. Oh, and the carpet bit i mean is the piece with the handle that covers the central area of the boot.

They'd be very expensive (around £20) i think.

Look for a breaker car, actually I think I may have a spare set of the side repeaters

I live round the corner from a stealership and they said something like £15 quid each for just the lenses, a quick look on ebay and i saw a complete set including holders for £15 so thats not too bad.

Steve, the tweeter cover is on the door, not on the windscreen pillar, just to confirm...

I've got Orange lenses, an okay boot floor and a tweeter cover, PM on it's way.

Think I have bolts for engine cover will have a look. I through out the engine cover cause it was buggered

I have a complete centre console for an auto,it's painted silver and has a few imperfections to the finish,give us a pm with an offer if your interested Stephen.I'm away for about a week
