Front Bank 1 (A) lambda Sensor for Galant V6 Sport

Hey there,

It has been a very long time since I have been on here but I suddenly found my way back. I am wondering if anyone has a spare Lambda sensor for the V6 Sport, spec as mentioned above? I have been getting an awful stench of the Cat and the engine management light has been on for a while but it was today diagnosed as the sensor. Mitsubishi seem to only be selling gold plated parts these days!

I understand that universal 4 wire jobbies are compatible, you can find them for under 40 quid.

Thanks for your reply Nick.

The mechanic working on the car has advised against the 4 wire universal ones as they will either not work properly or not fit. I have been trying to find the bank A (1, left) on ebay but only seem to find the right side ones. I'll try some other sources but if anyone has further ideas, it would be very helpful.
